HUME'S CROSSING BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

Hume's Crossing Boat Ramp sits at Blowering with stunning water views and direct access for water sports. The NSW Parks campground offers fairly level sites suitable for big rigs, though levellers help. Facilities are minimal: long drop toilets without handwashing stations, fire BBQs, and picnic tables scattered under large shady trees. The real drawcard is the scenery and wildlife. Kangaroos appear in large mobs, emus wander through, and the night sky delivers. Mobile coverage varies by provider. The campground sits close to the highway, which can mean road noise during busy periods and occasionally rowdy campers. Roads can wash out after heavy rain. Bookings through National Parks required for camping. Sites under the trees offer shade, and quieter periods see campers having the place mostly to themselves for swimming and relaxing by the water.
